Psychotherapy and Somatic Therapy for Individuals and Families with Nature-Based (Outdoor) Therapy Sessions also offered

My Practice

Therapy is a collaboration, and it is a journey to wellness, recovery and new life. I have a holistic and comprehensive approach, that integrates both body and mind, through Somatic Experiencing (a type of somatic therapy) and depth therapy. In my experience, healing takes place in different settings. As such, I offer both in-office and outdoor, nature-based therapy sessions, depending on need.

Step One

Call, text, or email  for a FREE Consultation. We’ll find a convenient time to talk to see how I can be of service to you.

Step Two

Based on our consultation, we’ll create a plan for you (and/or your family), according to your needs and goals. Perhaps you’re struggling in a relationship, or facing a difficult time in your life, or you have the desire to be your best and happiest self. Whatever the case is, I can help.

Step Three

As your therapy progresses, life becomes easier and more fulfilling. Studies show both short and long-term benefits to therapy, even years afterwards. Clients use newfound tools and gain insight, improving relationships, boosting self-esteem and reducing stress, pain and other symptoms. Therapy is powerful and life-changing.

LMFT, SEP
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #112808
Certified Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP)
Welcome! I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP) based in Santa Barbara, California. I enjoy working with diverse clients, from adolescents, adults and families, to BIPOC, LGBTQ+, Jewish, and veteran clients, on a range of issues. These include PTSD and posttraumatic symptoms, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation, relationship struggles, spiritual crises, men’s issues, self-renewal and growth, among others. Each person, however, is unique and unconfined by a category and by associated symptoms. My specialties are trauma recovery and posttraumatic growth, Soul retrieval, and somatic therapy, including nature-based therapy. I have a keen interest in dream exploration and Jungian analysis too, and when not at work, I love to explore the wild outdoors.

The Goals of Therapy

Therapy can be straightforward, refreshing and fun! Everyone goes through hard times, and this is an opportunity to bring out the best in yourself, in others, and to emerge stronger and happier on the other side.

“I am not what happened to me.
I am what I choose to become”.
