Therapy for Individuals, Couples, and Families

About Me

Hello and welcome! You may be arriving here in several ways: you could be stressed, sad, or overwhelmed, with a sense that you have lost your way. You might be curious and ready to develop as a person, with a feeling that something is missing in your life. You may want to improve a relationship or perhaps you are in the midst of a transition. Whatever the case you are taking an important step. Before one can change, and one’s life can improve, one must make a commitment to do something different and to take a step into the unknown. This is not easy and I commend you for your effort.

I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern (a pre-licensed therapist) working in private practice in Santa Barbara, California. I have a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the Pacifica Graduate Institute and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of California at Berkeley. I also have a master’s degree in Society and Politics from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem in Israel. I am a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), a type of therapy that is particularly effective in the treatment of trauma.

“I love my work because people gain a sense of mastery and depth as they learn life skills, connect with their innermost desires and as they grow as individuals, partners, family members, and fellow travelers on life’s journey. It’s a wonderful process. I approach therapy with enthusiasm, curiosity and respect, knowing that each person (or each family, or couple) holds the tools to change for the better and it is an honor to be a part of the process.”
